Ref 2599 AN1653/2001.Focusing on neat rectangular shapes and sharp lines to create a strong Art Deco feel, Girard-Perregaux produced an intriguing and highly attractive appearance in this sublime timepiece that also offers an elaborate and superbly accurate chronograph function. Powered by a self-winding movement, on the black dial with Arabic numerals the watch features the following functions: central hours and minutes, seconds, and chronograph.

The Girard-Perregaux company, for example, was the first to produce a wristwatch for commercial production in 1880. This is a brand that does not get anywhere near as much attention as it should.
