Description: Here is a watch of exquisite simplicity. The Parmigiani Fleurier Kalpa Grande automatic dress watch shows restrained elegance with its polished stainless steel tonneau-shaped case. Measures in at 34mm x 44mm including the beautiful large claw style lugs. Polished silver dial with a textured concentric pattern for the inner section. Indicating time are printed black hour markers and white gold alpha-style hands with black inlay. An expanded date window is present at 6 o'clock. Powering it is the PFC-121 automatic winding movement, Parmigiani Caliber 331 with 32-jewel, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour and twin spring barrels. Power reserve is 55 hours. You can view the movement from the display case back secured by six screws. The watch comes with a black Hermes calf leather strap with a folding Parmigiani Fleurier steel deployant clasp.
The Kalpa series was introduced in 2001, and was a staple of their range for a long time. It's distinctive Tonneau case has housed many a complication, but the version we have here is a relatively simple time and date, executed with Parmigiani's typical attention to detail, and is one of our favourites from the Kalpa range. Year of manufacture was 2010.
